Poh Hock has been playing the guitar for 18 years and has more than 10 years of teaching experience. As a musician, Poh Hock started playing the organ at the age of 5, and developed an interest towards the guitar a few years later. Poh Hock attended Berklee College of Music in 2011 with partial scholarship and graduated with a degree in Music Performance. He played in a progressive rock band called Native Construct, which has toured nationally with notable acts such as Between the Buried and Me and Enslaved, and their debut album, Quiet World, was also nominated for Billboard’s Hard Music Albums chart at #56 and New Artist chart at #85. Poh Hock won the 2015 .strandberg* guitar competition against guitar players from around the globe. He currently has a solo project, Poh Hock, and plays in a progressive metal band, Replacire.
