Each Band Class consists of up to 6 students and 1 teaching professional. The students learn to play their individual instruments, develop a set list, perform in front of audiences, and work as a group. At the end of each session, Band Class students perform in a Benefit Concert.
One hour or half-hour lessons scheduled weekly in 4 or 8-week blocks. Private lessons can take place any time throughout the year. It is Plugged In's goal to provide students with access to all of its programming regardless of their ability to pay.
Plugged In's Music That Matters Summer Day Camp includes band classes, songwriting workshops, offsite events, and performing opportunities.
Plugged In students are invited to perform at many community and non- profit organization events, throughout Needham and the surrounding area.
Plugged In offers hands-on workshops for beginners to advanced students covering a variety of different topics such as songwriting and music business.
We provide opportunities for our older students to mentor younger students, intern in our summer camp program, and volunteer with our special needs students.
