"One of the reasons I Love Plugged In is the friendships and connections made…everybody is part of the Plugged In Family and cheers on and supports each other’s successes on and off the stage."

PARENT

"Plugged In is like an extended family. Even if our day-to-days are very different, we come together in the same space and share music and ideas openly."

STUDENT

All proceeds support the Plugged In Band Program Scholarship and Inclusion Fund.

Now in its 22nd year, Plugged In is a Boston-area nonprofit music program offering students ages 8-adult the chance to join a band with other people their age and skill-level. Each year Plugged In awards over 60 student band class, summer camp and private lesson scholarships totaling over $75,000. No one is ever turned away, regardless of ability to pay, learning profile or disability. Students learn how to be in a rock band but, beyond that, they make connections to other musicians and learn the importance of using their music to make positive change in the world, and instilling in them the confidence to do so.
